A Training for Volunteer Managers

Did you know that 29.4% of residents in the Greater Baltimore area volunteer? That ranks us 16th among the 51 largest cities in the U.S.!

To learn about volunteer trends like these and much more join BVU for the first in a series of six volunteer management trainings developed by the HandsOn Network, the national network of volunteer centers.  Participants in this interactive training will learn about current trends in volunteerism, identify the essential elements of volunteer management, and explore the social motivators of volunteerism.  This training session is a perfect introduction to the volunteer management field for new volunteer coordinators and a great refresher course for those of us who are interested in exploring the current climate of volunteerism on both the national and local level.
